It combines Room Length, Room Width, Ceiling Height, Number of Doors to estimate Sheets Needed (4'x8'), Total Area, Net Area.

Formula & Method

Wall area is A_w=2(L+W)H and optional ceiling area is A_c=L\cdot W. Net area is A_n=A_w-21D-15N+A_c. With 10% waste, sheets needed are Sheets=\left\lceil\frac{1.1A_n}{32}\right\rceil for 4x8 sheets (32 sq ft each).

Notation used in the formulas: R = Sheets Needed (4'x8'); x_{1} = Room Length; x_{2} = Room Width; x_{3} = Ceiling Height; x_{4} = Number of Doors; x_{5} = Number of Windows; x_{6} = Include Ceiling.
