This page explains what information MCPCalc handles, how that information is used, and where sharing features create visibility for other people.
Information you provide
When you use MCPCalc, you may enter calculator values, proof text, spreadsheet content, CAS expressions, plot definitions, session names, and other workspace data. If you choose to save or share a session, that content is sent to our servers so the session can persist and be reopened.
Anonymous use
MCPCalc is built to be usable without creating an account. You can browse the site and use its tools anonymously. Saved session links shown in the interface are stored locally in your browser. MCPCalc does not have a notion of user accounts, and we do not keep account-based records identifying who created a given session.
Shared sessions
Saved workspaces can generate collaborative and read-only links. Anyone with one of those links may be able to access the data in that session, so do not share confidential or sensitive information through a shared MCPCalc workspace.
Analytics
MCPCalc uses Google Analytics to understand usage patterns and improve the product. Analytics providers may collect information such as pages viewed, approximate device and browser information, referral sources, and interaction events.
Browser storage
Some preferences are stored locally in your browser, such as calculator navigation preferences and, in some workspaces, the name label you use for collaboration. This local storage helps the app remember your setup across visits.
How we use data
We use the information described above to operate calculators and workspaces, preserve saved sessions, support sharing and collaboration features, improve reliability, and understand overall product usage.
What we do not claim
MCPCalc is not intended for storing regulated, highly sensitive, or secret information. The service does not currently offer account-based data management, end-to-end encryption, or a published data-retention guarantee.
