What This Calculator Does

Calculate per-serving nutrition facts for a recipe.

It combines Total Calories, Total Protein, Total Carbs, Total Fat to estimate Calories Per Serving, Protein, Carbs.

Formula & Method

Per-serving values are N_{serv}=\frac{N_{total}}{Servings} for calories and each nutrient. Macro calories use Atwater factors: protein/carbs 4 cal/g, fat 9 cal/g.

Notation used in the formulas: R = Calories Per Serving; x_{1} = Total Calories; x_{2} = Total Protein; x_{3} = Total Carbs; x_{4} = Total Fat; x_{5} = Total Fiber; x_{6} = Total Sodium.

Method summary: inputs are normalized to consistent units, core equations are evaluated, then secondary values are derived and rounded for display.

Use this calculator for quick scenario analysis. Start with baseline values, change one driver at a time, and compare how sensitive the results are to each input shown above.
